Fancy swapping the grey skies and cold of the UK for a sunshine break abroad? Lanzarote in the Canary Islands is one of the most popular winter sun destinations for British travellers. Which in part reflects the fact that the season is much shorter on islands such as Mallorca and Menorca. Either way though a villa break in Lanzarote works out much cheaper than a comparable holiday in the Balearics and can still be enjoyed even in the darkest depths of winter.
Rental properties on Lanzarote are of a high standard and now come with many extras such as Jacuzzis, internet connections, games rooms and hot tubs as part of the package. With villas and apartments available to rent across the island. With the highest density in the main holiday resorts.

Indeed the increase in internet usage has led to many visitors doing away with the services of travel agents altogether and booking their own holidays direct.
